The JV Stars started out slow, but than busted out big as the game went along to roll to an easy 59-32 win over the visiting Comets of McCluer HS. The Stars held a 13-5 lead after the first 8 minutes and upped that to 23-12 at halftime behind balanced scoring as 8 Stars dented the scoreboard with points before half. In the 3rd qt the Stars really got on a roll and had a terrific 3rd qt outscoring the Comets 23 to 10 in the quarter as Jermond Mosley had 7 points in the quarter. Rico Harris chipped in 5 points in the 4th qt as the Stars actually got the lead up to 30 points at one point , which led to a running clock. Rico Harris would go on to finish 10 pts on the night and a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line. 10 Stars scored on the night with Jermond Mosly being the other Star player in double figures with 12 pts. The Stars now sit at 9-8 on the year with 4 games to be played.
