JEFFERSON CITY HIGH SCHOOL: 54
LORISSANT, Mo. — The Jefferson City Jays JV football team opened its season Saturday with a 54-6 win at McCluer North.
Quarterback Devin Roberson tossed three touchdowns and ran for another.
Maleek Jackson caught two scores while Dalton Garner had one receiving touchdown.
Alex Burkhead recovered a fumble for a touchdown. Jordan Bruner also recovered a fumble.
The Jays will play Sedalia Smith-Cotton at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 29.
