Lady Stars rolled to a big home win over the visitors from Illinois the Lady Warriors of Granite City. The Stars ended up with a 40-8 victory to move their record to 6-0 on the year. Led by Samya Johnson's 7 1st qt points the Lady Stars led 13-0 after one period. The Lady Star domination continued in the 2nd period as they led 25-1 at halftime. Samya Johnson would lead the team with 13 points on the night and Michelle Owens added 10 points.The Lady Stars will host Jennings High School next Wednesday in their final tuneup before the holidays.
