INCARNATE WORD ACADEMY: 85
The ladies of the pool earned a hard fought victory Monday night against visiting Incarnate Word Academy. The Stars went down to the wire last season and this season was no different. The ladies of the pool were down 6 points going into the diving competition. Sarah Miller and Celeste Dufour once again were the secret weapon for the Stars. The girls finished 1st and 2nd in diving which catapulted the Stars into first place. The ladies would not relinquish the lead the rest of the meet. Sarah Kuper was a double winner in the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke. The meet was sealed with a first place finish from the 200 Free Relay team of Sarah Kuper, Celeste Dufour, Hannah Schaljo, and Jesika Woodard. The victory was a true team victory. The Stars take on Hazelwood East tonight and Ft Zumwalt South and Liberty on Thursday at the Eagan Center.
