The Stars volleyball team welcomed Hazelwood East yesterday and after the freshman team dropped the first game and were down big in the second, Coach Lapinski gathered the girls and with some timely serving and a never say die attitude, the girls completed the comeback and then finished East off by winning the third game big. The JV girls had a easier time winning in two games. The varsity team then finished off the sweep, taking game one, 25-15 and 25-18 in the second. Thanks to Dr. Schuler, who not only supervising and cheering, but also for helping run down a ball as it rolled away during the match.
